salamanda tandem: artistic research projects

In June 2003 Salamanda Tandem held its annual artistic research event at Fermynwoods, a beautiful contemporary art gallery directed by Rosalind Stoddart based in the Northamtonshire countryside. The research involved: composer; Duncan Chapman, poet / musician; Tony Baker, Sculptors; Kate Houghton and Rosalind Stoddart; dancer / choreographers Julie Hood and Lisa Craddock, artistic director; Isabel Jones, photographer Geoffrey Fielding and percussionist Emma Williams. The artists produced digital sound recordings, photographs, dance/sculpture/music performance and site specific sound / movement work inspired by the landscape at Fermynwoods.
