Salamanda Tandem was commissioned by the East Midlands Voice Dance Project and Lincoln Cathedral to create a new dance / light / sculpture work for Domenico Scarlatti 's choral work 'Stabat Mater', sung by the Richard Roddis singers. Stabat Mater was created by Artistic Director / Choreographer; Isabel Jones with Rosalind Stoddart, Indigo Dance company, dancers Karen Mok, Isabel Jones, Julie Hood and assistant choreographers Lisa Craddock and Julie Hood.

Stabat Mater was performed twice: 18th April 03 at Mary's Church Wirksworth and the 19th April 03 at Lincoln Cathedral.
