Wendy Lawson - Poet/Consultant

Wendy Lawson Bss. Bsw (Hons) Gdip (psychstud) Gdip (pychology), author of four books and many papers, is currently a PhD student at Deakin University, Australia. Her topic is 'Autism and family distress'. Wendy, a mother of four, originally diagnosed with intellectual disability, then with schizophrenia was finally diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder in 1994. Wendy's youngest, Tim, now 21yrs. was diagnosed at 12, with Asperger's Syndrome. "Tim loves Rotary engines. Wendy prefers piston engines. It takes both kinds of engine to drive a world of difference!"
