Julie Hood - Dance Development Julie trained at the Rambert Academy in Twickenham before joining Ballet Rambert in 1982. She taught and toured with the English Dance Theatre, and then became a founder member of Michael Clark and Co in 1984. With Michael Clark, Julie performed in many productions touring Europe, U.S.A. and Japan. She has also appeared on film and television, including Hail the New Puritan, a film of Michael Clark's work directed by Charles Atlas. Julie has worked closely with Salamanda Tandem since 1999 both as dancer, and choreographer, she is responsible for Dance Development within the company including her role as artistic director of Indigo Dance Company. |
